Answer: Dear Crotty,
Please book your child in for a consultation - you can combine this with a 40 mins facial, it's always a good way to start your journey. The will be able to advise on future treatments and products to use at home. We are a lot of teenage skin with very good results.
Please do come in for the consultation session and you are welcome to stay in the room during the facial.
You can call us directly or book online via our website.
forward to hearing from you,

Answer: Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch. I’m sorry to hear your 14 year old is suffering from acne.
There are causes of acne. In younger people often cause an over production of oil/sebum in the skin, which blocks pores and leads to a build up of skin cells and resulting in .
There are several clinic treatments that can help, from deep facials to LED light therapy. At Dorset Aesthetics I offer MD light therapy, which works really well to reduce bacteria and inflammation in fewer .
The first and most step is a good home skincare regime. Cleansing the skin properly with the right cleanser can really make a big . Using hydroxyacids on the skin, like acid and acid, and will also really help.
the skin moisturised with a hydrating but non pore-blocking product will prevent the outer layers of the skin from drying out. If this happens oil can get trapped, water evaporates more oil production, and bacteria can get in through tiny cracks in the skin, all worsening the problem.
It’s important to get advice on the right products and ingredients. I offer free consultations and can do so via video call if you would like us to have a chat about skincare. Many I recommend are available via Get Harley, a skincare concierge platform, which I can upload skincare prescriptions to for patients to purchase whenever they need. So if you don’t live this is a great option.
Please feel free to click on my link and book in online for a free consultation.
Many thanks,
Gilly

Answer: Hello,
Thank you for your email .
I would strongly you book into the clinic for a skin consultation. This is when our highly trained and experienced prescribing nurse can get to know you better and your concerns with you. As with all treatments, we work with the individual and create a personal plan for you.
A brief of some of the we have on offer are as follows:
• Obagi products – these are prescription products that are so in the treatment of acne. The two main in the range are the Daily Care Cleanser and Pore each containing salicylic acid which pores and helps remove the which causes acne.
• Chemical Peels – there are several peels suitable for acne skin types. During you will be advised which is the best one for your particular skin condition.
• IPL/Laser Acne - The in the skin is successfully and the acne is cleared leaving you with smooth, fresh, healthy looking skin. The laser will at the same time stimulate production which will enable the skin to heal with less scarring.
• Laser & Scar – this is done with a SmartXide CO2 DOT Laser.
• Medical Dermal Roller – this scar tissue and can also be done at home.
This is a very large and complex and affects people at different times in their lives. Acne cannot be "cured" but can be controlled. The effects and the scarring that often comes from uncontrolled acne can be minimised and reversed. Always remember that prevention is better than cure as acne can rarely be completely eliminated.
Our skin consultation is £50, please let us know if you have any questions or would like to book your consultation.
Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday 9am – 6pm.
